History: Saint Andrew's Anglican Church, Ramallah
Saint Andrew’s combines Palestinian stone construction with English-style arches. In a 2016 interview, parish priest Fadi Diab described a restoration that removed concrete covering the stonework, recovering the church’s earlier appearance. The church belongs to Ramallah’s Episcopal campus, whose institutions include a school and a vocational training centre.
An interesting detail
The diocese also lists a diabetes and cardiovascular clinic on the church campus, linking the parish’s setting with medical as well as educational work.
