Also called the Greek-Melkite Cathedral of Saint George, this church on Mansour Street in Amman is the Melkite Catholic cathedral of Jordan. It serves as the headquarters of the Melkite Greek Catholic Archeparchy of Petra and Philadelphia, the ancient name of Amman standing in the title of the see.
