History: Mary of Nazareth Church, Sweifieh
Mary of Nazareth Church was built in 1984 under Bishop Salim Sayegh and blessed by Patriarch Giacomo Beltritti in 1985. Its parish developed as Amman expanded westward. In September 2014 the church hosted the Catholic Eucharist during the international Orthodox–Catholic theological dialogue meeting in Amman.
