History: Holy Pentecost Armenian Apostolic Church
Tripoli's Armenian community first worshipped in borrowed premises and later in a wooden and tin church dedicated to the Holy Mother of God. Calouste Gulbenkian funded its stone successor. Archbishop Khoren Baroyan consecrated the new church on 3 June 1962, giving it the dedication of Holy Pentecost, Sourp Hokekalousd.
