History: Saint Catherine Greek Orthodox Church, Anfeh
Beside Anfeh's shore, this stone church preserves Romanesque architecture from the Crusader period. Lebanon's tourism guide dates it to the twelfth century. Balamand's architectural inventory records an earlier dedication to the Holy Sepulchre and associates the later Saint Catherine name with later repairs.
