History: Amman Seventh-day Adventist Church
The Adventist church on Rainbow Street was dedicated on 25 December 1954, after a building project launched in 1953. It was constructed on the same property as the Adventist school, replacing Sabbath worship in classrooms. The dedication also coincided with the ordination of minister Mousa Azar.
An interesting detail
Before the church opened, desks were moved and folding chairs installed for services in two adjoining classrooms.
