CHURCH BUILDING
All Saints Cathedral
Zamalek · Cairo · Anglican / Episcopal

A brief history
Consecrated on 25 April 1988, the present cathedral is Cairo’s third All Saints. It continues a congregation whose first church opened in 1876 and whose second cathedral was consecrated in 1938, reflecting successive chapters of Anglican life in Egypt.
An interesting detail
The cathedral’s administration building houses diocesan archives preserving records of Anglican life in Egypt, including material concerning the early Church Mission Society missionaries.
