Saint Paul Church

A brief history

In 2008 the diocese bought a five-storey building in Ezbet El Nakhl. Worship initially took place in its ground-floor garage while restoration awaited funding. By the diocesan account published in 2016, the restored building had been dedicated as Saint Paul’s and was supporting education and community outreach.

An interesting detail

The congregation’s garage beginnings became part of its identity: Archbishop Mouneer compared this modest worship space with the stable associated with Christ’s birth.
