A brief history
The congregation’s published records trace the church project to meetings in local homes. Its cornerstone was laid on 16 June 1922, and the church was completed in 1925. This is the Cleopatra Street parish, distinct from Saint Mark’s Cathedral in Abbassia.
Saints & traditions
Its priests produced an extensive Bible commentary series, preserved online by Saint Takla’s library, extending the parish’s teaching beyond its congregation in Heliopolis.
