A brief history
Saint Michael and All Angels has served Heliopolis through generations of Anglican ministry. Ishaq Musa’ad became its vicar in 1960 and later Egypt’s first Egyptian Anglican bishop. The diocese celebrated the church’s centenary in February 2026 with former clergy and congregants.
An interesting detail
The building also welcomes Heliopolis Community Church, whose international congregation worships here, adding another community to the Anglican church’s life and hospitality.
