History: Christmas Lutheran Church, Bethlehem
The Christmas Lutheran Church in Bethlehem has served as a worship sanctuary since 1893. Its roof and ceiling were damaged in 1967, and the building suffered further damage in 2002. The congregation's history emphasizes the survival of its German stained-glass windows and the church's connection with the International Center of Bethlehem on the same campus.
An interesting detail
A small hole in a figure's red robe in a left-side stained-glass window remains a visible trace of the 2002 damage.
