History: Holy Translators Armenian Church, Tehran
Holy Translators Church was built in 1968 for the Armenian community of Tehran’s Vahidieh quarter. Navasargian records its construction as part of the city’s expanding Armenian church network. A first-hand IranPress report in January 2026 locates the same Targmanchats church on Vahideh Street, in the Armenian School alley.
