A brief history
Inaugurated on 16 February 2023 on Saadiyat Island, this church is one third of the Abrahamic Family House, a complex built to hold a church, a mosque and a synagogue together for interfaith dialogue. It is named after Francis of Assisi. It is a Catholic church, and it is open to all denominations.
Saints & traditions
Three unaligned cubes on one plinth, each thirty metres on a side, each facing a different way. The church, the mosque and the synagogue were built to the same height and dimensions on purpose.
