History: Saint James the Less Church, Ma’in
The Latin church in Ma’in was built in 1956–1957, separately from the town’s Greek Catholic church. It later stood unused for nearly twenty years. In 1983 the Little Family of the Annunciation was entrusted with the parish, restoring the church and developing adjacent religious houses.
An interesting detail
Patriarch Giacomo Beltritti consecrated the restored church’s altar on 6 July 1986.
