A brief history
Prayer began here on 19 June 1969, after Father Bishoy Kamel sought a church for Ibrahimia. The congregation first used a converted villa; later expansion occupied its garden. Pope Shenouda III blessed an upper extension in 1987.
Saints & traditions
The church’s devotional account records the arrival of relics attributed to Saint Takla on 1 January 1972, welcomed with prayers and celebration.
