A brief history
Father Mikhail Saad purchased the Smouha church’s first plot in 1950. Worship began with consecration services in March–April 1956. Expansion later added an upper floor, inaugurated in 1978.
An interesting detail
The associated Beit al-Naama project, completed in 1992, combined a hospital with accommodation and care facilities, extending the parish’s work beyond worship.
