A brief history
Saint Mina’s in Fleming held its first liturgy in June 1948. In August 2025 Pope Tawadros II consecrated the church following restoration and renewal of the church and its service building, continuing a parish history stretching across generations.
An interesting detail
The parish history records that four marble columns, with their bases and capitals, were transferred with permission from the ancient Saint Mina church at Mariut to surround its altar.
