History: Awali Church (Our Lady of the Visitation)
Awali's small church stands inside the BAPCO compound and is shared by Anglican and Roman Catholic communities. A letter dated 11 November 1944, preserved in the British Library's Bahrain church file, discusses the existing worship facilities at Awali while a new Anglican church was being proposed for Manama. The shared church remains linked to Saint Christopher's Anglican chaplaincy.

The stained-glass window above the altar reproduces William Holman Hunt's The Light of the World, associated with Revelation 3:20.
